A NEW HOUSING FORM CAN BE ACCESSED WITH THE DORM FORM LINK. THERE IS ONE FORM FOR THOSE 18 AND OVER CHOOSING TO SHARE A ROOM. THERE IS ANOTHER FORM FOR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS ROOMING WITH THEIR CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 18.
Housing will again be available at the 1760 Third Avenue (at 97th Street) dorm.
The following is housing information for IKIF 2017. IKIF has secured space at a Hunter College affiliated dorm for those who are looking for accommodations during the Festival. This is entirely optional. You are not required to stay at the dorm. If you do wish to take advantage of the space reserved, please read this page for further information on securing a bed/s.
The dorm address is:
1760 Third Avenue (at 97th Street), New York, NY 10029. You can receive mail there.
You can check in at the security desk of the dorm from 12 noon, Saturday, July 15. The security desk number at the dorm is: 1-212-600-5555. You can also check in late or the next day if you are delayed. Desk is open 24 hours/7 days per week.

Applicants must stay either 16 nights for a total of $800 per person (arrival July 15 with departure July 31 for the complete Institute & Festival) or
8 nights for Session I ($400 per person for arrival July 15 with departure July 23) or
8 nights for Session II ($400 per person for arrival July 23 with departure July 31).
Please note that Check-in time is 12:00 Noon and Check-out time is 10:00 am.
There are no exceptions.
Please note that if you wish to stay in a single room, you must pay for the two beds in the room which will be $100/per person/per night. Again, a shared double is $50/person/per night.
Please use our dorm form
to secure housing at the Hunter dorm through the IKIF website. A U.S. check is necessary and preferred for direct payment to the dorm. There will be a 3% processing fee if paying by credit card. You will also be asked to indicate your preferred roommate. If you are under the age of 18, you must stay in a room with a parent or guardian.
